Conference Information:  Come join about 500 educators and learn about the best STEM curriculum and instructional practices in order to encourage innovation and collaboration.  In addition to educators, the Texas STEM Conference encourages STEM employers, business leaders, policymakers, parents, and non-profit organizations to attend this conference to learn how Texas can engage its stakeholders in this critical dialogue about STEM education and workforce readiness. This is the 7th Annual Texas STEM Conference.

Call for Presenters:  We are inviting educators, curriculum developers and innovators to submit proposals for thought provoking presentations, active demonstrations, and engaging conversations that focus on STEM content and pedagogical strategies.

All presenters (including co-presenters) are required to register for the conference. The registration fee will be waived for Texas STEM Center representatives. T-STEM Schools should check with their T-STEM Centers regarding registration, and T-STEM Coaches should check with Education Texas regarding registration. Each session will be either 1 or 1.5 hours in length. All rooms will be furnished with a podium/presenter’s table, screen, and a microphone when necessary. Please note any special request on the proposal form. Presenters will be notified regarding date, time, location and room capacity in a confirmation email. Please provide adequate handouts. No copies will be made on-site.

WEBSITE FOR PROPOSALS:  A website has been set up to submit your proposal. Go to https://aggie-stem.tamu.edu/Conference/.

DEADLINE:  Please submit an abstract proposal no later than midnight (CST) Saturday, December 1, 2012.

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 6th Annual Texas STEM Conference. We hope that you will share your expertise!
